Welcome to the Ealing Sub-Committee - Pre-School Learning Alliance
We at the Ealing Sub-Committee are part of the National Pre-School Learning Alliance and are based in Hanwell Library, Cherington Road, Hanwell, London W7 3HL (020 8567 5247)
The Pre-School Learning Alliance have been an educational, charitable organisation since 1963 and a charity registered as a limited company since 2003. At a local level we have representatives from our members (volunteers) who are responsible for the strategy of our work.
Our work across Ealing involves:
- Enhancing the value of play and education in children’s learning and development
- Parents and families, as lead roles in all aspects of their children’s learning, thus becoming a stepping-stone into adult education and/or employment
- Building learning communities, via staff training and community involvement
Through, dedicated training of staff and innovative learning and play, we are committed to the enhancement of our services.
The services we offer
- Specialist Publications — Early Years
- Childcare Provisions - Children’s Centre’s, Under 5’s and Baby & Toddlers
- Family & Outreach Worker - Support our Childcare Provisions and their families in building self-esteem and encouraging up take of childcare
- Development Team – Provide on hand advice to Ealing Early Years Providers, on various issues relating to safeguarding, Volunteering, Ofsted, Quality Assurance and/or Membership
- Membership – Our membership offers a range of benefits tailored to suit childcare settings, professional organisation and/or students/individuals
- Training & Family Programmes – A range of specialist Adult Learning opportunities for parents, Early Years, Volunteers and/or students
